Structure of a standard court
The structure of the padel court is designed to combine robustness and aesthetics, measuring 20 meters long for the internal playing space and 20.40 meters in total, with a width of 10 meters inside and 10.40 meters in All. This construction uses galvanized steel, either painted or coated with baked epoxy polyester resin, in accordance with strict technical standards. The mesh used is a 50x50x4mm galvanized electro-welded model, optimized to have no internal protrusions, thus guaranteeing safety and durability.
The connections between the different elements of the structure are secured using threaded rods, washers and rounded acorn nuts in stainless steel. The pitch pillars are fit to specification, with 80.60.2mm pillars at the bottom and sides, and 70.30.2mm double L-shaped pillars at the 4 meter high . Anchor plates measuring 300x180x10 mm and 200x190x10 mm reinforce the structure, supplemented by screws of 14 mm or more and metal dowels of at least 140 mm in length.
For installation, the court is fixed to the ground with “hilti” type dowels or similar, ensuring a solid base. Metal reinforcement brackets add additional stability up to 0.5 meters in height at the base of the pillars. Horizontal crosspieces of 30x30x2 mm are placed at 1 meter and 2 meters to prevent any deformation. Waterproofing above the pillars is provided by PVC dowels , protecting the integrity of the structure against the elements.
Paint
The metal components are treated with a thermosetting polyester powder paint, enriched with polyester resins, to provide a customizable finish according to the customer's color preferences. This method significantly improves resistance to corrosion, UV, and physical impacts.
The application of this paint is done by electrostatic process, after which the parts are baked at a temperature of 180°C to 200°C to allow polymerization, thus ensuring the durability of the protective layer.
For installations near maritime areas, where the risk of corrosion is increased by salt fog, additional protective measures are taken to safeguard the metal structure. Customers can also opt for a two-tone finish , for example, with different colors for certain elements like the spotlight stems.
